Landscape Design Competition

"A showcase for the local professional community to display their creativity in landscape which encourage vibrant communities and healthy lifestyles."

The subject of the competition will be common areas of HDC housing development.

The concept for the design is:

"People's Park"


An inclusive space for all members of the community to engage in healthy living that provides:

• Young children's play area
• Youth recreation space
• Adult exercise/relaxation area

The park must be inviting to and connected with the surrounding built environment.

The competition is open to individuals holding a certificate or higher recognised qualification in one of the following areas of study:

• Landscape Design
• Architecture
• Town Planning
• Engineering (Civil)
• Interior Design
• OR Licensed Company
  

Participants may submit designs for either or all three (3) common areas : Flats or two (2) Landed areas.
