Landed Area 1: RPR Jalan Astana II

There is a discrepancy between the A1/AutoCAD site boundary and the 3.8 acre boundary delineated on the cadastral plan in the Instructions.doc. The boundary of the A1/AutoCAD file is larger. Participants may design the 3.8 acre boundary shown in the cadastral OR the full site shown in the A1/AutoCAD plan at your discretion, but the design budget limit remains the same. The technical committee apologizes for the discrepancy.

Flats Area: Taman Sepakat Jaya Community Hall

The location and dimensions of the Taman Sepakat Jaya Community Hall have been added to the download package for Flats Area (Professional) as a jpeg file. Click here to download the package. The Community Hall is an existing feature on the site and should be included in your design.

2009 Landscape Design Competition Launching Ceremony

The 2009 Landscape Design Competition was launched yesterday, 6th of May 2009 at Housing Development Corporation by YB Datuk Amar Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari b. Tun Abang Haji Openg, Minister of Housing, Sarawak.

Introduction

There is a clear need to provide residents of high density housing areas with a green environment to engage in healthy lifestyles.

IDEAS have been entrusted by the Ministry of Housing to provide a platform for local landscape designers to showcase their creativity within HDC housing schemes.

The landscape design competition is jointly organised by the IDEAS, UiTM, HDC, DBKU and supported by Ministry of Housing, Sarawak.
